Self-love kicked into the drive-train. Hybrid humanoid momentum. It's probably how the absolute horseshit idea that there's an exterior limit to the universe became the unspoken truth, ditto the final final final final particle-thingie way down there at the bottom of the well of what we are.
Because their metric's always been the self. Cartesian slide-rule. So that has to have an end at either edge of the scale, because without a boundary how can there be a self. The big dot on the infinite line, from which all things take their measure.
This is how we have begun to enter the universe. As its pre-destined center.
That would irritate most residents of anywhere else, isn't it?
In answer: the real most human state of grace isn't I don't think that abject selflessness that puts everyone else above, but the opening-out widening embrace of being that gives to the other and receives, that completes the self in something higher. Dedication to the eradication of suffering is dedication to suffering.
Monkey-altruism is life-altruism, it goes up and out, just like the space program.
